The above rates are based on a brick veneer home with medium level of finishes. The scope for variation in square-metre building costs is extensive based on site costs, materials, quality of inclusions, design and layout.
step 1: DETERMINE YOUR BUDGET
The first step in any build is to work out a realistic budget for your proposed project, and always allow a contingency as a precautionary.
Step 2: Engage a Building Designer or Architect
A Building Designer or Architect will take your ideas and put them on paper. Your Building Designer or Architect will design your home based on your ideas AND your budget. There is no point designing an elaborate house if you cannot afford to build it, so it is important to be realistic in this step.
Once you have your plans drawn up and approved by your local Council, you are ready to build.
Step 3: Book a consultation with us
It is important that you engage with a builder that you feel comfortable with. You should be able to communicate with your builder with ease and trust them completely.
